If you a history buff then you must visit this city just 3 hours away from Bodrum. The Bodrum to Ephesus and Pamukkale tour combines history and beautiful culture and nature.
Pamukkale is famous for it’s mountain of white appearance. It looks like snow but it’s actually solidified calcium deposits that have cascaded down the mountainside from the thermal underwater pools. The thermal pools are said to have healing powers and in ancient times the area was used by locals as a healing spa. The ailments that were treated here include stress, arthritis and skin disorders. Cleopatra’s Pool is a large thermal pool that used to be surrounded by a beautiful temple. Only crumbled columns remain now but it’s amazing still to swim among these original artefacts.
