If you want a truly luxury experience, then the Bodrum Private Boat Tour is the perfect option for a special day out. We have a boat that takes up to 12 people on a cruise around the Bodrum peninsula. The purpose of this tour is so you can see the crystal clear water of the Aegean in all it’s glory.
Anyone can privately hire this boat. We take solo travellers, couples, families or groups of up to 12 people. It is for those who don’t like the sound of sharing a boat with others and want to have complete comfort.
Many standard boat trips are available in Bodrum and most boats take between 30 and 40 people on board. They all follow a scheduled route so many of the bays end up crowded and fighting for the best spot. Why not hire a small but beautiful gulet boat for a private boat trip around Bodrum to avoid the crowds. You can start slightly earlier than the scheduled boat trips and take the opposite route. This means that you will be at the bays ahead of everyone else so you can enjoy it’s tranquillity.
You may discuss with the captain which bays would be best for you to go to on the day. These decisions can be based on things such as weather, as in wind some bays are more sheltered than others. In high season most boats are full and on the sea, and to avoid over crowded spots will make for a more enjoyable day. And also your interests also play a big part. If you a group of nervous swimmers, the captain may suggest bays so the boat can get closer to the shore for your comfort. Or if you are lovers of the sea, some bays have amazing snorkelling reefs.
Private boat hire in Bodrum is popular among large groups because the price per person works out cheap. The island is situated in front of Bitez bay. Many years ago a few rabbits were placed here and over a short amount of time the rabbit population increased. This fact is why the island is named so. The sea floor is beautiful white sand and on a windy day, the boats can shelter here from the wind. This bay is often the place to stop for lunch. After lunch you can swim to shore and leave food for the remaining rabbits.
Lady bay is the closest bay to Gumbet, so is the last on the Bodrum private boat trip’s stop. Its name comes from it being such a secluded bay.
